Our Story
Idle Smart was born from a simple, powerful idea: Heavy-duty trucks shouldn’t waste fuel and money idling. In an industry where every dollar counts, that’s a problem worth solving.
When Founder and CEO Jeff Lynch discovered the patent for a system to reduce extended idling, he saw an opportunity to reshape the industry. The team rolled up their sleeves and got to work. It wasn’t about fancy features or complex engineering; it was about creating a solution that just worked—something reliable, automated, and easy for fleets to implement.
We became customer champions, working side-by-side with early adopters, handling installations, gathering feedback, and constantly improving our system. This dedication to partnership and performance drives us to deliver exceptional service and solutions that exceed heavy-duty fleets’ goals.
We didn’t stop with the first Idle Smart system. We relentlessly innovated, pursuing better ways to optimize fleet operations with solutions like SmartInsights, our AI-powered predictive maintenance tool.
